Troubleshooting — What Went Wrong and Why
Most of what looks like a failure is the bot refusing to do something unsafe, or the market moving faster than the trade. Here is what each message actually means.

Trades
| Message | What it means and what to do |
|---|---|
| Transaction failed | The market moved further than your slippage allowed between the tap and the fill. Try again, or raise the slippage for that trade. Nothing was charged. |
| Insufficient SOL balance | Every trade needs the amount plus network fees. Keep at least 0.01 SOL free on top of what you are spending. Check /balance. |
| Amount too small after bot fee | The trade is so small that the fee leaves nothing to trade with. Use at least around 0.0011 SOL. |
| Position already open | Manual buys are refused while you hold the token, so a stray tap cannot double your exposure. To add on purpose, use a DCA or a limit order — both merge into the position you already have and recalculate your average entry. |
| No tokens left to sell | The position was already sold, possibly by a take-profit or stop loss. It clears itself from the portfolio. |
Sniper
The sniper stopped buying. Two ordinary causes, both by design.
The snipe limit was reached — the sniper switches itself off after the number of confirmed buys you set, so a bad session stays bounded whether you are watching or asleep. Turning it back on in /sniper resets the count.
Or the dev-buy band is narrow enough that very few launches pass it. A high floor filters hard; that is the point, but it also means long quiet stretches.
A snipe failed but the fee was still paid. Network fees are paid by the transaction itself, whether it lands or not. Reaper's own 0.7% is only charged on a successful trade.
Exits
A stop loss or take-profit did not fire. Prices are checked continuously, but a collapse and recovery that happen inside a single instant can pass between two checks. On very thin tokens the price can also move further than the exit could fill.
An exit sold less than expected. Each order sells a percentage of what you actually hold at the moment it triggers, not of what you held when you set it. If you sold part of the position manually, the remaining orders scale to the smaller balance.
Wallet
| Situation | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Reclaim shows blocked accounts | They hold wrapped SOL, or another program holds the authority to close them. A Solana rule, not ours. See Reclaim SOL. |
| A token will not sell at any size | The bonding curve has run out of SOL and cannot buy it back. See Burn. |
| Balance looks lower than expected | Empty token accounts hold roughly 0.002 SOL each. Hundreds of them add up — Reclaim returns it. |
Still Stuck
That clears any half-finished flow and returns you to a clean menu. Nothing is lost — positions, orders and settings all live server-side.
